This annual report focused on the many areas of Contel's applications and technologies. Bennett Robinson asked that I reserve an area in each image that would be pure white -- the white of the page -- for brief captions. The images would otherwise bleed across the gutter. Although they were all photographed in medium format, a digital mezzo-tint was introduced to give each image a high key granularity.

A wide range of subjects was selected for the assignment, including the Air Force Academy (mess hall), the Chicago Board of Options Exchange, a fishing fleet in Mobile, a basketball game in North Carolina, a ski resort in upstate New York and the TDRSS deep-space tracking station in New Mexico.
